The company Atena was fouded in 2008 with the exceptional goal of improving and strengthening the provision of nursing care through the supply of quality nursing personnel. I the beginning, Atena focused on local markets, but gradually expanded, its operations to the entire territory of the EU, where it quickly gained the recognition and trust of both our clients and nursing profesionals.

With an impressive background and experience in the field of social care in Slovakia, Romana Longauerova represents the heart and soul of our team at Atena. With more than 6 years of experience and active work in social care and practical experience from departments at UPSVaR BB. Romana brings a rich palette of knowledge and skills to her curret role as the manager of the nursing service.
Romana recieved her education in the social field at the Catholic University of Ruzomberok, where she managed to acquire knowledge that is now a key element in her professional endeavours. Her PHD. focuses on social work, which inspired her to actively work on international projects related to community services and long term care.
